We’ve vacationed at Summerwinds for four years, and it’s perfect every time. The spacious layout gives our whole family room to relax, the kitchen makes group meals easy, and the hot tub is the best way to end the day. With the sound just outside and the beach a short walk away, it’s a peaceful retreat we look forward to all year.
I’ve stayed at Summerwinds multiple times, and it never disappoints. The home is spacious and inviting, with plenty of bedrooms, a large living area, and a screened-in porch that’s perfect for relaxing. The beach is just a short walk away, and guests can enjoy a great hot tub and tennis access. Tucked away in beautiful Rodanthe, it’s ideal for a family reunion or a getaway with friends.
This home has been the setting for so many great memories. I’ve stayed here in different seasons, and it’s always a wonderful experience. With plenty of bedrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, sound access, and a short walk to a peaceful beach, it offers comfort, privacy, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend both the house and the area.

Soundfront Rodanthe - Cross of Honor Way
Wind and watersport enthusiasts take note! This lovely home has a private boardwalk that leads you to your own private sandy soundfront beach and launch.
Choose from four comfortable and warmly decorated bedrooms. A king master bedroom offers access to the soundfront deck with sound view and private bath with dual vanity. A second queen bedroom and a bedroom with a queen bed and set of single bunks each have views of the sound and share a common bath which also is where you’ll find the laundry. The top-level king bedroom has private entrance into the semi-private bath and access to the oceanside deck with ocean view. All bedrooms have their own TV.
Two levels of decks boast amazing views of the sound, and the east facing deck also offers view of the ocean! Enjoy a soothing soak in the hot tub on the mid-level deck while watching the sun set over the sound. The top-level deck offers a screened porch with picnic table for dining al fresco.
